While working at the Center for Global and Intercultural Study at the University of Michigan, I took full responsibility for every aspect of the department’s annual magazine: ‘Beyond Borders.’ I produced three magazines in total (2012-2014), evolving the magazine into 60 pages of photos and articles from students, faculty, and staff centered on an annual theme. I took high-quality DSLR photos, worked closely with individual students and faculty to edit articles for form and content, personally conducted interviews, and worked with printers to increase circulation and present a polished product.
